Our meeting on Sunday morning
On Sunday morning the Christians at Linwood Bible Chapel meet together to remember the Lord Jesus by the simple act known in the Bible as "the breaking of bread". Some Christians use other names like "Communion", the "Lord's Supper" or the "Eucharist".

The Lord Jesus himself asked those who followed him to break bread and drink wine to remember Him and the reason He died for us. The first Christians did this on the first day of week.
If you are a visiting Christian, you are very welcome to share the bread and wine with us. If possible we'd prefer you to introduce yourself as you come in so that you can be welcomed.
If you are planning to gather with us on a more permanent basis, you should make this known. At Linwood, we follow the Lord's command that those who come to trust in Jesus should, as believers, be baptized to announce their faith.
After the initial welcome and a few introductory comments, our meeting is not prearranged. The Bible teaches us that the Spirit of God will use contributions from a number of people to supply our spiritual needs. The men lead the worship through this time which concludes with the breaking of bread.
After the breaking of bread, one of the members will have usually been organized to help us with teaching from the Bible.
